RRRR 2017

2017 was lined up and ready to move forward but ran into a scheduling snag with another competing event on the same weekend. Our attempts to reschedule to another date around the fame time of the year wasn't panning out. Unfortunately due to factors involving that event, our regular vendor list and the inability to secure a venue around that time, we decided it was best to cancel the 2017 event and focus our efforts on 2018.

RRRR 2016

2016 was the first year at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds - Hartl Ag Building. This new location had many benefits over the hotel space. It was significantly larger, had better parking, cement floors in case of spills and an overhead door for loading and unloading. We were able to leave more space to walk around and not feel cramped making the space much more inviting for the event attendees. It also allowed for our educational space to be in with the vendors so noone missed a presentation.

* Attendees counted by hand clicker at the doorway. ALL attendees were counted including children. Clicker operator stopped counting above 1,200 people with over an hour left of the event. The clicker operator was the daughter of the primary organizer so there may be room for some errors which is why we are reporting at the 1,000 mark and not 1,200.

RRRR 2015

Additional Documentation

2015 was the second year of the combined event with both Reef and Reptile vendors available and was also the second year at the Doublewood Inn. This was the first milestone year of adding industry speakers to the event which was a huge success! Thank you Fargo for showing him that we have awesome support in this area!

RRRR 2014

2014 was the first year of the combined event with both Reef and Reptile vendors available. It was also the first year at the Doublewood Inn. It was also the first year we were able to make significant donations to different charities involving our hobbies. This milestone year was the birth of the new event and was the proof that we can do this in Fargo, ND

FFS 2013

2013 was the the first annual Fargo Frag Swap in Fargo, ND. It was held at the Paradox Convention Center in downtown Fargo on January 12th 2013. We had no idea how the event was going to go over so it was kept cozy and simple. The days prior to the event, Fargo experienced one of its worst storms of that winter season mixing rain, sleet, snow and excessive winds making travel very difficult and not recommended. Mother Nature threatened the success of the event, but against all odds, every vendor made the trip to the event and all tables were full! Even though travel wasn't recommended, we still had a great turnout at the event and considered this the start of an annual event. However it was quickly decided to move the date to better weather.
